About the Role

The U.S. Sales Director will lead business development and revenue growth efforts across the Central United States, focused on expanding strategic customer relationships within utility, industrial, and energy markets.

This is a high-visibility individual contributor role responsible for developing pipeline, driving territory growth, and managing complex technical sales cycles involving electrical inspection technologies, asset monitoring solutions, and infrastructure reliability initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong commercial instincts with technical credibility and established relationships across utility, power, and industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead territory growth strategy across the Central U.S.

  • Develop and manage qualified sales pipeline aligned to revenue goals

  • Build relationships with utilities, municipalities, industrial operators, EPC firms, and channel partners

  • Identify and pursue opportunities tied to grid modernization, infrastructure reliability, and electrical asset management

  • Conduct technical and commercial customer presentations

  • Collaborate with engineering and international leadership teams on customer solutions and market strategy

  • Represent the organization at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events

  • Drive both new business development and expansion within existing accounts

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • 7+ years of technical sales, business development, or account management experience

  • Experience selling into utilities, industrial facilities, municipalities, EPC firms, or energy customers

  • Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, asset reliability, or industrial operations

  • Proven success managing complex technical sales cycles

  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, operations, maintenance, and executive stakeholders

  • Strong consultative and relationship-driven sales approach

Preferred:

  • Background in utility infrastructure, grid modernization, electrical testing, or inspection technologies

  • Experience with condition monitoring, automation, or asset management platforms

  • Existing relationships across utility or industrial markets

  • Technical degree or equivalent industry experience
