Position Overview
As a Paramedic, you will provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) care across a diverse range of emergency and non-emergency situations. This role offers exposure to both 911 response and interfacility transport, creating a well-rounded clinical experience within a structured, team-oriented environment.
You will play a key role in patient care, clinical decision-making, and on-scene leadership while working alongside EMT partners and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality ALS care in both emergency and non-emergency settings
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
Administer medications and perform advanced interventions in accordance with established protocols
Serve as a clinical leader on scene, providing direction and support to EMT partners
Operate emergency vehicles safely and maintain readiness of medical equipment
Complete accurate and timely electronic patient care reports (ePCR)
Collaborate effectively with hospitals, healthcare facilities, and care teams

Compensation & Schedule
Base Pay: $25/hour
Shift Incentive: Additional premium pay (equivalent of 3 extra hours) for qualifying shifts
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights)
Week 1: 36 hours (3 shifts)
Week 2: 48 hours (4 shifts)
Qualifications
Current Paramedic certification (State of Ohio)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Ability to perform in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to patient care, professionalism, and continuous improvement
