Position Overview

As a Paramedic, you will provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) care across a diverse range of emergency and non-emergency situations. This role offers exposure to both 911 response and interfacility transport, creating a well-rounded clinical experience within a structured, team-oriented environment.

You will play a key role in patient care, clinical decision-making, and on-scene leadership while working alongside EMT partners and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality ALS care in both emergency and non-emergency settings

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans

  • Administer medications and perform advanced interventions in accordance with established protocols

  • Serve as a clinical leader on scene, providing direction and support to EMT partners

  • Operate emergency vehicles safely and maintain readiness of medical equipment

  • Complete accurate and timely electronic patient care reports (ePCR)

  • Collaborate effectively with hospitals, healthcare facilities, and care teams

Compensation & Schedule

  • Base Pay: $25/hour

  • Shift Incentive: Additional premium pay (equivalent of 3 extra hours) for qualifying shifts

  • Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights)

    • Week 1: 36 hours (3 shifts)

    • Week 2: 48 hours (4 shifts)

Qualifications

  • Current Paramedic certification (State of Ohio)

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

  • Ability to perform in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Commitment to patient care, professionalism, and continuous improvement
